Eric & Sarah Fasciani
CrossFit Nashua is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Eric and Sarah Fasciani, who also own CrossFit Souhegan and CrossFit Pepperell. Before Eric opened our doors he had a small personal training company that operated out of multiple gyms in southern New Hampshire. His goal was to start a personal training studio, but as soon as he took the CrossFit Level 1 Certification, he knew his focus had to shift. The CrossFit training methods and certification process was like nothing he had seen. It aligned perfectly with his belief that fitness and health go hand in hand, and the goal of fitness training should be to add quality years to people’s lives. When he started implementing CrossFit workouts with his clients, the results spoke for themselves. The goal of opening a personal training studio quickly switched to opening a CrossFit gym. Eric and Sarah began construction on their first location with hopes of reaching 20 members within the first year. A year later they were bursting at the seams with 100 members and moving to the state of the art 8,500sf facility they are in now. Then in 2015 they opened CrossFit Souhegan and in 2022 they acquired CrossFit Pepperell. From the start, the mission was to create a fun workout environment that helps people improve their lives through fitness. No matter who you are, your background, your age, or your fitness level, if you are willing to put in the work, CrossFit Nashua wants to help you get there.
Eric started his fitness career as a personal trainer in 2006. He quickly found a passion for fitness that was focused on building healthy, capable bodies. This clashed with the bodybuilding/physique focused approach that was prevalent at many gyms. When he attended the CrossFit Level 1 Certification Course, he realized he had come across something special and instantly knew he wanted to open a CrossFit location. CrossFit had the biggest influence on Eric and his approach to fitness. “I love that the focus is on health, wellness, and performance rather than looks. You can have someone that looks ripped with abs and biceps who is not fit or healthy. When you train CrossFit, you get people who are healthy and capable of amazing things. The side effect is that you also look great.” Eric is driven by a belief that fitness carries over to all aspects of life. Perseverance, integrity, dedication, sacrifice, self-control, honesty, and commitment are all best and easiest learned through fitness. Sarah’s fitness career started in 2010 when she first tried CrossFit. She never really enjoyed working out in a typical gym, but she knew from day one of CrossFit that it would become a major part of her life. Within seven months of trying CrossFit, she became certified and started coaching at CrossFit Nashua. Since then, Sarah has obtained additional certifications in Crossfit, MovNat, and USAW. Sarah is also certified in CrossFit Kids, which she used to help show children and teens that fitness is a fun tool for a healthy life. Sarah believes that everyone should always be “moving” from the very young to the elderly. That’s what drew her to CrossFit so much – the ability to scale for every walk of life. Sarah works well with all types of people from competitive athletes to those who have never set foot in a gym. Tyler’s journey to CrossFit began soon after his collegiate football career came to an end. As a physical education major and somebody who had always been deeply involved in athletics, it was a natural evolution. When football ended, Tyler felt a void in his daily life and was eager to find a new community of like minded individuals. All it took was one single class and the fire was reignited. Disciplined people, a fun and engaging social network, and functional fitness; what was there not to love? After a year of training and learning the nuts and bolts of being a CrossFit athlete, Tyler decided to pursue his career as a coach so that he could help others learn and grow along their own journeys. As a coach, Tyler’s overarching goal is to support each person that he works with in the pursuit of becoming better. The interactive and social nature of the job suits his desire to build meaningful relationships and be deeply engaged in his work. Through CrossFit, lessons of all kinds are taught and reinforced. These lessons transcend the confines of the gym and can and should be brought into all aspects of life. It is Tyler’s mission to facilitate this growth within himself and all of those whom he coaches. Coach Bridget officially joined a CrossFit gym in November 2015 after trying out many other styles of workout classes and “globo gyms” that never really held her full interest or gave her the results she was looking for. Bridget grew up heavily involved in competitive dance and gymnastics so she was desperate to find a gym that would continue to athletically challenge her while proving to have effective, real results and keep her coming back for more on a consistent schedule…and she luckily found all that (and more!) at CrossFit! In the Fall of 2016, Bridget obtained her CrossFit L1 Certification which allowed her to begin her Coaching journey. With 10+ years of teaching dance classes under her belt, the transition into coaching CrossFit classes felt natural and it ignited an even deeper love for the sport and lifestyle of CrossFit. Being able to teach, coach and engage with so many others who share the same interest in being active and striving to be better than yesterday is such a profound opportunity that it doesn’t even feel like a job! Lizz’s CrossFit journey began 4 years ago when she discovered CrossFit while living in Florida. Having been heavily involved in sports her entire life, CrossFit gave her that familiar feeling again of comradery and friendly competition. When Lizz moved back to Massachusetts, she found CrossFit Nashua and continued with the sport. After a few years as a member, the incredible opportunity to become a Coach at CrossFit Nashua presented itself, as well as the role of Athlete Success Manager. After shadowing many classes, extensive coaching development, and receiving her CrossFit Online Level 1 certification, Lizz joined the Primal Athletics Team. Coach Lizz’s ultimate goal is to ensure that Athletes have all of the resources they need and have great experiences. Her main objective is to bring energy, positivity, and the best hour of their day to each one of the athletes who attend her classes. She knows how stressful work and family life can be, and wants to provide an environment where all stressors can be left at the door when you enter the gym. Cultivating a welcoming and kind community is very important to Lizz, as well as ensuring our members are setting goals and continuing to work towards them.
